The majority of our postgraduate taught programmes start in September. However, our Education Master's also offer January start. Some of our programmes offered by the Faculty of Health Sciences also offer January and June start. Please refer to the course pages for more details.
The following start dates are available for our research programmes: September, January and June (specifically 29 January 2018, 4 June 2018 and 17 September 2018).
You can apply for a postgraduate course at any time. There are no specific deadlines but you need to take into account the start date of your course and all the arrangements you need to make in preparation for the start of your programme with us.
We recommend that you apply by 1 August for September course start (or at least 6 weeks before any other start date). This is important in particular if you need Tier 4 visa to study in the UK as you need to allow enough time to complete your visa application process. This usually takes 3-4 weeks.
We will consider later applications.
If you would like to defer the start of your course, you need to email firstname.lastname@example.org. The Postgraduate Admissions team will then contact the academic department for approval.
Deferrals are normally only allowed if requested up to six weeks after the initial start date. After this, you may need to apply again.
Please apply via the UCAS Teacher Training (UTT) website.
